ITT0605 – Myanmar Holiday Archaeology

 Day
01 Arrival Yangon
Transfer to the hotel after arrival in the morning.
Afternoon visit includes Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha,
Royal Lake and famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight Yangon.
Day 02 Yangon sightseeing – Yangon/ Heho (flight)
Morning sightseeing highlights include a visit to Sule
pagoda; city center and Yangon river front .Afternoon fly to
Heho. Proceed to Inle Lake.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 03 Inle lake sightseeing
 Visit
to colorful local market if today coincides with the market
day at the lake, followed by boat ride along the narrow
water way to reach Inndein village and its hundred of ruined
stupas. Famous Phaung-daw-oo pagoda, floating vegetation,
gardens, stilt houses on water and their traditional fishing
techniques would be seen. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 04 Inle lake sightseeing – Heho/ Mandalay (flight)
Morning tour highlights include silk weaving, cheroot
making workshops and blacksmith work. Afternoon fly to
Mandalay. On our way from Mandalay airport to Mandalay city,
visit and view the sunset from century old U Bein teak wood
bridge at Amarapua.
Overnight Mandalay.
 Day
05 Mingun and Mandalay sightseeing
Myanmar Holiday Maker would conduct and take the private
boat to cross the Ayeyarwaddy River to reach Mingun. Visit
Pathodawyi temple, Mingun bell and Myatheinthan pagoda.
Return to Mandalay. Afternoon sightseeing highlights are
Mahamuni Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda and sunset viewing at
Mandalay Hill. Overnight Mandalay.
Day 06 Mandalay – Sagaing hill- Monywa
After breakfast, drive to Monywa. En-route visit Sagaing
mountain range, silverware making, Thanboddhae pagoda noted
for it’s over five hundred and eighty thousand Buddha
statues. View scenery from 1000 Bo tree complex. Overnight
Monywa.
Day 07 Monywa-Poewin hill- Pakokku- Bagan By road and
river
Morning drive to Poewin hill noted for its stone curving
and continue to Pakokku. Take a private boat sail down along
the Ayeyarwaddy River to Bagan.
Day 08 Bagan
Bagan sightseeing at Asia’s best kept Archaeological site
includes famous pagodas and local ways of life. Overnight
Bagan.
 Day
09 Bagan sightseeing – Bagan/ Yangon (flight)
Bagan’s second day sightseeing includes visits to the
rest of the distinctive pagodas, lacquer ware factory,
typical village life. Fly back to Yangon in the late
afternoon. Overnight Yangon.
Day 10 Departure Yangon
Free at leisure until transfer to the airport to take the
onward departure flight.
